Put up or shut up…

April 12, 2002

Ahh, to be complete worthless in government and to make inflammatory

remarks. From the [AJC

piece](http://www.accessatlanta.com/ajc/news/0402/12mckinney.html):

“Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-Ga.) is calling for an investigation into whether

President Bush and other government officials had advance notice of

terrorist attacks on Sept. 11 but did nothing to prevent them. She added

that “persons close to this administration are poised to make huge profits

off America’s new war.”

Best quote from a rep of a group she attacked: “Did she say these things

while standing on a grassy knoll in Roswell, New Mexico?” The best comments

are from her fellow Representatives. It’s in the right column.

This is why most people think people from Georgia are stupid, ok. The sad

fact is that most of her constituents will ignore her past inflammatory

remarks and votes against what her district wants and vote her in. But then

again, people still think Walk Disney’s head s frozen on a secret Disney

Animatronics island.

Actually I think Zell Miller said it best, “I hope President Bush will

remember that this is the same Congresswoman who — during each of his State

of the Union addresses — arrives early to get a coveted aisle seat, then

leans way over as Bush walks down the aisle, hoping he will give her a kiss

for all to see on national TV.” Rep. Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.) said McKinney is

simply trying to impress her constituents.”

It’s been a busy Friday, early meetings, late lunch, long planning. I didn’t

get into my office until 2:00. I was getting paged to see if I was at work

today.
