One Paragraph Movie Review: Road to Perdition

Road to Perdition was one of those movies we loved. But, we both came out of it saying, “That was an odd movie”. Niki didn’t know what it was about, but I happened to catch Tom Hanks on a talk show, so I knew going in that it was about gangsters. It is a beautiful film, beautifully shot and the music was great. The storyline was slow at times, but later you understood why. Paul Newman was good as the head of the crime family. Jude Law is a good actor who isn’t afraid to take different parts. Tom Hanks is good, he played an unlikeable person who in the end becomes likeable. I give it an 8…..
