At the Bi-Lo, Sunday 11:54 a.m.

August 5, 2002

Oh how I dislike the Blue Laws . Why do I have to wait until Noon on Sunday for Wal-Mart of BiLo to open? We’re not buying beer, we just wanted to get some provisions for a picnic. Why do we still have these laws?

Other thoughts….

Over at Time.com, Jessica Reaves has a good article about the recent Fast Food Lawsuit . Someone is missing a few brain cells if they think 100% beef means “Healthy”. Let’s see, he had two heart attacks, suffers from Diabetes, and has high collesterol. And he still eats this food? I’m a diabetic, I eat sugar-free foods, try to watch my intake, but I don’t blame the Dolly Madison Company when I eat one of their powdered doughnuts. I know it’s not good for me. This is just someone looking to cash-in because they don’t want to accept resoponsibility for their actions. “I’m fat because other people made the food” could easily be, “I lost an arm because my Chevy didn’t avoid the opposite lane of traffic when I went on an all night bender”.
