I’ve been allergic to Acetaminophen (otc Tylenol) for most of my life so a story like this bothers me. I have two questions about meds going into the wastewater: 1.) Will this eventually cause people to build up an immunity to medicines, causing the need for higher doses? 2.) How are they filtered out?
