Jobbyjob

December 29, 2005

I’m about to go into my busy season, after a couple of months to regroup and rebuild. Granted my busy season ran from January 2nd, 2005 until March, then from April until October. 2006 will start from January 3rd until mid-April.

Mainly this upcoming quarter-year, we’re looking at 10 & 12 hour days, 5 to 6 days a week. If we have problems, that could be 7 days. Sounds like crap? You bet. Do I get paid well? Moderately. Am I looking for another job? You bet your sweet ass I am.

Now understand, I’m not afraid of hard work. I’ll work until it’s fixed or where it’s to a point of “leave it till tomorrow”. But if you’re not paid well, then, it’s time to start looking.

So, if any of you need a web designer on a freelance/contract or full-time basis, I am actively looking. I have a few resumes out in the Atlanta and Nashville areas, but would like to stick around Chattanooga or telecommute.

Honestly, this was just gonna be a post about wanting to work for a blog company…..
